November 11-16 is National Apprenticeship Week.
The BAC District Council Training Center, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor will host an Apprenticeship Open House event on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 8:00am - 3:00pm here at the Training Center as part of the Fifth Annual National Apprenticeship Week.
The event will feature a safety presentation about Fall Protection from 3M Corporation and also feature an introduction to the District Council Training Center's successful Apprenticeship Programs in the crafts of Bricklayer, Tile Setter, Tuckpointer, Terrazzo Worker and Plasterer.
Attendees will be invited to tour our world class training center, talk to apprentices and instructors, and participate in hands on activities in bricklaying, tile laying and tuckpointing. The event is free and open to the public and business community.
We will also be taking applications during this time, so bring copies of your Birth Certificate, SS Card, Drivers License or State ID and $20.00 Application Fee (Cash, Check or Money Order) or you can plan to visit the office any Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 3:00pm
