The following changes have been made to the Illinois Administrative District Council Safety Training Policy:
OSHA classes will expire 4 years after completion date
Refresher classes are now scheduled; these classes will consist of OSHA, Scaffold, Fall Protection and Silica Awareness refresher class all in one 8 hour day. The classes will cover both OSHA 10 and OSHA 30. If a member has a current scaffold card that is expiring soon this refresher will update all 4 classes. These cards are for all of the trowel trade represented by the ADC.
Members MUST have previously attended a minimum of OSHA 10 and Scaffold User
Work is slow, but now is the time for BAC members to update their Safety Training classes. Our Safety Training schedule is in the "Events Calendar" tab on our website. Please call our office to reserve a seat in the many classes scheduled in the upcoming months. NOTE: OSHA 30 Hour Saturday classes are now 4 consecutive Saturdays (New OSHA Regulations)
For the good of the membership, the District Council Training Center is now selling trade specific tools to our members at a low price. We have tools from Marshalltown, Kraft, Crick and Smith Level. We have just signed up with ProKnee to provide members a discount for new kneepads and the chance to rebuild your old kneepads at a discounted price.
